Camden Hugo
Wizard for a day — what he would change
Three fixes: simplify the cumbersome USOS system (class registration, faculty contact, scholarships); unify the fragmented platforms (Pegasus vs. Microsoft Teams) into one place for assignments and instructions; and give students on-campus access to printers. Overall he is happy studying in Poland. Comparing experiences, he notes that US universities can feel very commercial and expensive, with student organizations that are less academic, whereas in Poland he values academic circles and student government (including a Polish-Ukrainian studies circle) that are more focused on academic substance and genuinely useful to one’s degree.
If I were to be able to change something with a magic wand and make it all better, I would definitely say USOS.
