Poland balances quality and affordability well — as a foreign student he values high-quality education without the enormous costs (and debt) he experienced in the US. Quality depends on well-trained professors, up-to-date materials, libraries, labs and technology; affordability matters so that education stays accessible regardless of financial background. Universities should cut unnecessary administrative hurdles and hidden fees and explore innovative funding models such as scholarships, work-study programmes and business partnerships. When quality and affordability go hand in hand, education becomes both a personal and a societal investment. He is satisfied with his costs and proud to study at the Jagiellonian University.
