University prepares you for life, providing not only theoretical but also practical knowledge — how the world operates, how to find a job, how to communicate and how to write a CV. As an international student the speaker had to figure much of this out alone, and notes there are few English-language workshops (most are in Polish). After graduation everyone becomes an adult who must earn money and support themselves, so work-readiness knowledge is essential. He recalls that moving from a Ukrainian school to a Polish university was hard because little was explained, and hopes his university delivers this work readiness and economic-profitability skills, with more focus on international students.
