In the US the speaker could freely pick his classes and time slots; in Poland it is stricter, which he understands given the smaller number of English-language teachers. He proposes allowing students to combine English- and Polish-language courses (for example, an international-relations student who knows Polish taking some Polish-track classes, and vice versa). This would bring the student communities closer, break down the language barrier between Polish and international students, and create a more international, diverse and comfortable community rather than a wall of language.
